Jim has been a hearing instrument specialist since 2000. In 2001, he purchased HEARINC to develop it into a full audiology practice. As a native of Canton, he received his B.S. in Aerospace and Manufacturing from Kent State University in 1973. Jim became interested in audiology in 1998, when his father, grandfather, and several uncles – who worked in industry and served in World War II – were constantly complaining about their current remedies to hearing loss. With a corporate background in problem diagnostics and solutions applications, Jim felt he could take a different approach to correcting hearing loss, one that restores patients to the most active lifestyle possible.
